Going Orange For A Friend

orange-blur[1]

Not too long ago, I had the pleasure of meeting a new blogging friend who brightens my days with her kindness and joy! Kentucky Angel has been living with MS (multiple sclerosis) since she was a teenager, and it was her desire to “paint the world orange” today for MS Awareness Month.

This afternoon, I read on her blog that she is not feeling well, so I want to dedicate this post to Kentucky Angel and all of those who are bravely living with MS!

I would love for you to join me!

If you have a favorite orange photo or even an “orange” recipe, will you please light up your blog in support?

For additional information on MS and how you can show your support, please visit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

  4. You truly are wonderful Anna. What a beautiful thought. 🙂

    1. Aww, you’re so kind, Lynne.

  5. People living with chronic illnesses like this are so tough. They take advantage of their good days while those of us without those challenges have the nerve to whine. This is a wonderful tribute to your friend. I’ll virtually send her my favorite muffins! http://hostessatheart.com/cranberry-orange-muffins/

    1. So very true, Julie! Thank you so much for sending the muffins — they look wonderful as always, dear friend! Sending hugs!

      1. Hugs your way too Anna! Have a wonderful day!

    1. Thanks, sweet friend! Sending hugs! 🙂

  7. Thank you, Anna. I made it out of bed today, and the sun is shining, so I hope to make it out of the building as well. Having friends like you to help spread the word is more helpful than anything science will ever come up with, and I appreciate you more than you will ever know,
It took longer than I had thought, but did you receive the recipe for the amaretto chocolate cake? If not, I’ll attempt to send it again, just in case I got the email wrong. And please, if you receive some wonderful orange recipes, I do love orange food, and would love to receive some. As much as I try to visit at least one time each week, I don’t always make it, just as I don’t always get to post each day, or even each week now as I once did. Just please know how much I appreciate and value you and your friendship.
    Angie

    1. You are so very welcome, Angie! It’s my hope that we can spread the word and be a support! 🙂 I appreciate you so much and your dear friendship! I’m so glad to hear that the sun is shining and you’re feeling a little better! 🙂 I do have a wonderful orange recipe and photo to pass along to you from two dear friends! I’ll try to find a way to forward them to you! 😉 Praying for you and sending a big hug! xo

      1. Are you on FaceBook? I can try to find you if you are there, or can try to IM you here for the recipes. I love orange in all forms, especially food. I’m keeping myself hydrated now with orange Jello and Orange Crush, as well as my all time fave, Peach Nehi — orange in color. Homebound for so long though that I am running out of all of that, so today the sun is shining again, the wind has eased up, and it’s Senior Day at the grocery, so I’m off in a little while for some serious shopping — at least a lap basket full, 🙂
Big HUGS sent your way, and many, many thanks for all your support. xoxo, Angie

        1. Hi Angie! 🙂 Yes, I am on Facebook under Life Bellissima. I hope your day was lovely — Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Love and hugs, sweet friend!! xoxo

          1. It was a wonderful day, and I was able to get out to the grocery during the lovely afternoon.
I tried to find you on Facebook tonight, but you didn’t come up, so I don’t know if I was doing something wrong or if it’s my FB. If you want to try me, I’m under my own name — Angie Wink. I’ll try yours again later this morning, in case I was doing something wrong, or if my computer was acting up. It does that frequently lately.
Love and hugs to you also, dear girl. XOXOXO.

          2. I am so delighted to hear you had a wonderful day, Angie! 🙂 I will look for you on Facebook! 🙂 Love and hugs, dear friend!! xoxoxo
